Our Indoor Badminton program offers a structured league format and social drop-in style format for all skills levels – choose how you’d like to play!

HIGHLIGHTS + LeAGUE DETAILS

  • Choose between structured League Play or a casual format like Play & Social.
  • League games are 75-minutes with rotating start times.
  • Social & Play is 105-minutes with the same start time every week.
  • Locations include (but are not limited to) Maison de la francophonie d’Ottawa, & Alta Vista Public School.
    • League: OSSC does its best to balance all teams’ timeslots, however; several factors can impact league schedules, including permit updates, and number of registrations.
  • Leagues begin mid-January and end mid-April.
  • Rosters & Schedules will be available to registered players at least two (2) days prior to your first game.
  • Register as an individual or with friends. 

Skill Division & Roster

  • Badminton leagues have recreational or intermediate skill levels and Play & Social programs are open skill leveled – inclusive to all skill levels. All leagues and programs are fun-focused!
  • Individual teams will receive a Welcome Letter and Roster update at least two (2) days prior to your first game.
  • Open Gender: There are no minimum gender requirements. Players participate freely without restrictions existing as to how many players of each gender are on the court.

Players are responsible for bringing their own racquets. The remaining equipment and set up is taken care of by SSC staff.
