OSSC hosts dodgeball leagues with various options throughout the week! No experience necessary – just a great attitude, and brownie points for a great team name!

ALL ABOUT OSSC dodgeball

OSSC dodgeball is played 6-on-6 using two foam dodgeballs per side. Playground rules are adjusted for our more-regulated version of the game. Join the largest dodgeball league in the city for a weekly dose of fun!

Our approach is to provide all members of the community with an outlet to play, learn and even master the sport they love! Get the squad together, or join as an individual and meet new friends with the same passion for Dodgeball.

HIGHLIGHTS + LeAGUE DETAILS

Choose the night of play that fits your lifestyle! Leagues run throughtout the week Monday – Thursday’s.
Games are 55-minutes with rotating start times.
Choose your region: Central Ottawa and Kanata.
- OSSC does its best to balance all teams’ locations and timeslots, however; several factors can impact league schedules, including permit updates, and number of registrations.
Leagues begin the week of September 17th and wrap up the week of December 10th. *Exception Monday Leagues will end on December 18th. (13-Week Season)
Rosters & Schedules will be available to registered players at least two (2) days prior to your first game.
Register as an individual, with friends or as a team!

Skill Division & Roster

Choose between Recreational or Intermediate skill divisions. All leagues are fun-focused.
Individual teams will receive a Welcome Letter and Roster update no later than Wednesday, September 6^th.
Mixed Gender Leagues: Teams must always play with a minimum of 2 men and 2 women on the court.
Single Gender: Teams must always play with the same gendered players on the court
Open Gender: There are no minimum gender requirements. Players participate freely without restrictions existing as to how many players of each gender are on the court.

All leagues are self-officiated.

*NEW for Fall 2023 – SSC will provide dodgeballs at every game. Captains no longer need to rent equipment. All equipment and set up is taken care of by SSC staff. Your team just needs to come and play!
