There’s no better time to get out and be active, reliving your glory days out on the court. For those looking to get that cardio time in without feeling like you’re working out, Basketball is your weekly answer! Choose from a variety of skills levels that fit your playing experience. Recreational and Intermediate leagues offered throughout the week!

These Recreational and Intermediate Leagues are mixed gender and teams are required to always have a minimum of 1 man and 1 woman on the court.

HIGHLIGHTS + LeAGUE DETAILS

Choose the night of play that fits your lifestyle! Leagues and “Play & Socials” are offered Monday to Thursday.
Games are 55-minutes with rotating start times.
Locations: Central Ottawa, Nepean Within each region, OSSC does its best to balance all teams’ locations and time slots, however; several factors can impact league schedules, including permit updates, and number of registrations.
Leagues begin early-May and end mid-August.
Rosters & Schedules will be available to registered players at least two (2) days prior to your first game.
Register as an individual, with friends or as a team!

Skill Division & Roster

Choose between Recreational or Intermediate skill divisions. All leagues are fun-focused.
Individual teams will receive a Welcome Letter and Roster update at least two (2) days prior to your first game.
Mixed Gender Leagues: Teams must always play with a minimum of 1 man and 1 woman on the court.
Open Gender: There are no minimum gender requirements. Players participate freely without restrictions existing as to how many players of each gender are on the court.

Players are responsible for bringing their own Basketball. The remaining equipment and set up is taken care of by SSC staff.
