Equipment Rentals

All Sport & Social Club sports require equipment. Sometimes equipment is provided onsite, and other times you will need to bring your own equipment.  For some sports, you can rent equipment from us.  Check out the list below to see if rental equipment is available.



The following sports have rental equipment options (that means you can bring your own or choose to make a refundable deposit and rent the equipment from us):

  • Dodgeball (two x 7” dodgeballs) - $100.00 refundable deposit
  • Softball (set of throw-down softball bases, catcher's mask, three softballs) - $100.00 refundable deposit
  • Ultimate (frisbee, six cones) - $25.00 refundable deposit
  • Flag Football (football, set of team flags, six cones) - $100.00 refundable deposit
  • Field Soccer (Kickster net, soccer ball, six cones) - $250.00 refundable deposit

How the equipment rental works?  Scroll to the bottom of this page and use the registration function (click "individual" to see the equipment options).  Then make a fully refundable equipment deposit using your credit card.  You’ll get to borrow the equipment from us for the season*, and when you return it, we will give you a refund of your equipment deposit.

Not sure if your team needs equipment rentals?  If you are an individual registrant (playing with others you have not yet met), please take the time to email your teammates to find out if equipment is needed.  Then nominate one member of your team to make the equipment deposit and pick it up at one of the sessions indicated below. *Dodgeball, Futsal and Flag Football equipment is provided for individual teams to use for the season.

It is always the team’s responsibility to collect the rented equipment prior to your first game. 

*Winter 2023 Equipment Pick Up Dates:

Friday, January 13th from 6 - 8pm @ Rideau Sports Centre
Tuesday, January 17th from 6 - 8pm @ Rideau Sports Centre
Wednesday, January 18th from 6 - 8pm @ Rideau Sports Centre


Note - these locations are pop up events and OSSC staff will not be available at these locations outside these dates and hours. For special accommodations, please reach out to our Customer Service Team at ottawa@sportandsocialclub.ca.

*We ask that players return equipment rentals at the next season's Equipment Pick-up / Drop-off Session. Equipment that has not been returned within twelve months of the rental will be considered owned.  No refund will be available after this time.
